Richter & Company competiRATER™ Competitive Analysis Product – How to estimate your competitor's wrap rate for a specific opportunity.

Understanding how your competitors are likely to craft their burden rates for a specific opportunity is imperative to any successful capture effort. The competiRATER™ is an opportunity-specific competitor wrap rate analysis developed using the same process as the wrapRATER™ product but includes additional Competitive Analysis to derive a company’s targeted wrap rate for an opportunity.

The competiRATER™ product is intended to provide an estimate of a targeted company’s likely current wrap rates before fee in the context of a specific opportunity. The competiRATER™ reflects an individual targeted competitor’s likely future rate, strategies, or solutions in the context of the requirements of any specific opportunity. Elements from our Analysis of the Customer and Competitive Field: Competitive Analysis are utilized in the competiRATER™ to provide opportunity-specific competitive data, to include:

  • Opportunity overview;
  • Competitor organization structure;
  • Competitor bidding unit and primary work location, including employee headcount and approximate annual revenue;
  • Competitor 5-year federal prime obligations;
  • Competitor aggressiveness;
  • Assessment of likely past performance references;

The competiRATER™ results are not the target’s actual wrap rate; they are projections developed using our standard models, based on data gathered through independent research using open-source, non-proprietary, historical data. The competiRATER™ reflects the likely burden rate that a company may employ on a given opportunity with adjustments applied based on the details of the opportunity.

competiRATER™ results reflect our independent assessment of the targeted company.
